WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING:

Laura is an amazing trainer!!  I have ridden with Laura and received some of the most excellent dressage coaching I have ever experienced. Laura is extremely knowledgeable and with kind and thoughtful instruction, she is 100% focused on the rider and horse. Laura’s comprehensive approach to training will leave both rider and horse focused, relaxed and in-tune with one another. Symmetry in riding. Laura’s paramount concern is excellence for both rider and horse. Dressage lessons are a joy and the rider comes away knowing more, after one lesson, than they did after years of lessons.  Laura is kind, patient, beyond knowledgeable and experienced, trustworthy and an over-all incredibly positive instructor. She is also expertly trained in horse care. Laura is the best of the best!

For anyone that has not ridden with Laura she is delightful.  She exudes a passion for this sport and health of the horses being worked in a correct and fair fashion.  She listens to your wants, needs and struggles and with her knowledge she breaks down the smallest piece of information into a teachable and manageable fashion so that we can communicate to our equine partner.  She wants everyone to succeed!!  Her smile is always so nice to see and she is just a shear delight to be around and she gives everything the confidence they need in this hard sport.

I have known Laura for about 3 years and have always found her to be a positive and happy person, and good to be around. She has healthy look on life and is always striving to improve her knowledge in the Horse world, whether it be through riding, teaching or seeing horses through the eyes of Dr. Laura Stokes-Greene (vet), from Doctor Steele and Associates Practice, for whom she worked for two and a half years.

Laura has the ability to teach someone new and make a lasting difference that will improve the way the rider performs as well as making the Horse move better. She watches horse and rider work together as a team and finding ways that she can improve the harmony between them. Whether it be through making some small changes in the way the rider is sitting and using their aids, or finding different methods of asking the horse to become more supple and accepting of the contact and rider's aids. I love Laura's approach.  She is always thinking ahead and is willing to discuss what she is seeing and why she thinks what she is suggesting will help, and makes a point to listen to what the rider has to say.

I think anyone that has a lesson with Laura will enjoy the experience and definitely come away with some new knowledge and over time will see improvements in their riding and the way their horse responds to their aids and thus they way it moves.

Laura is an amazing person - she was knowledgable, honest and kind to both my horse Tonka Toy, and myself. Laura schooled my OTTB, who was previously a showring hunter, and could be extremely temperamental, and inspired me to ride my best to qualify and compete in the Region 8 Championships. I still have those ribbons from that week hanging on my special ribbon rack, along with an engraved leather lead for high point TB (Tonka @ 18 years old ridden by myself, an "older" adult amateur), to remind me that a inspired dedicated trainer can take you to the top using care, patience, kindness & talent. Good Luck in Texas Laura - you will be missed in NY!
